Management Hunts - 1998

The Hunting Area: Iwaba is a 100 sq. km. sporting estate situated in the Munyati Valley of central Zimbabwe. It lies within the Zambesi catchment area with the rivers flowing north to Lake Kariba. It is heavily wooded, bushfield country which supports an unusually large variety of wildlife species including elephant, giraffe, rhino, cheetah and leopard as well as many species of antelope. The Estate is managed solely for its wildlife potential which means no domestic stock or any internal fences. All the animals live in a totally wild state and can wander freely throughout the estate. Iwaba Safaris has been operating hunting safaris for more than 25 years and takes pride in providing first class hunting for every category of hunter.

Management Hunts - 1998: Stalking for Management Purposes- an introduction to African hunting for sportsmen who are interested in exiting and physically stalking rather than the size of the trophy. Management Hunts control the game numbers on the estate in Zimbabwe. Over a period of 7 days you will have the opportunity to cull 7 animals or replace one animal with a days bird shooting. See
wildlife utilization policy for more information.

When we find an animal that is not one of our prime breeding stock, you will be allowed to take and cull it. We do not guarantee that you will be able to take one of each species, but your bag will be made up of at least three different species of game animals.

No trophy fees will be levied on these animals, but please note that a wounded animal will count as one of the seven animals permitted on this hunt. Horns, skulls and skins will be yours to take home if you wish, but there will be an extra charge to cover the cost of cleaning, packing and documenting these items for export.
