
Phil Phillips started bowhunting for small game at age 10 and took his first deer at age 15. Over the past 30 years, he has hunted across five continents, taking more than 200 big game animals and 38 species worldwide.
A professional guide and outfitter for 27 years, Phil guided clients to more than 500 big game animals that qualified for the record book. In 1992, Safari Club International (SCI) honored him as North American bowhunting outfitter of the year.
The host of exciting and informative outdoor television programming for 10 years, Phil currently headlines “Summit’s High Places” on The Outdoor Channel and actively promotes the sheer fun and excitement of hunting and shooting a bow. He has field-tested archery and hunting products as a pro-staffer for numerous companies, including Easton, Mathews, Scent-Lok and Summit Tree Stands.
Phil enjoys sharing his bowhunting adventures with fellow hunters through his
television shows, website, hunting seminars and other personal appearances.
Whether addressing technique, equipment or safety and ethics, he motivated by our archery heritage and his love for the great outdoors.
Phil is a Life member of the NRA, SCI and the North American Hunting Club and a member of the Professional Outdoor Media Association.
